Prof. Dr. Murat Erginöz

Eğitimine İsviçre Cenevre Üniversitesi'nde başladı, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Mimarlık Fakültesi'nde bitirdi. Akademik kariyerini Paris IV. Sorbonne Üniversitesi'nde yaptı. Mimar, romancı, çevirmen olarak birçok telif ve çeviri eseri bulunmaktadır.
Eserlerinden bazıları TV dizisi ve film oldu. İngilizce ve Fransızca'ya çevrildi. Fransa Cumhurbaşkanlığı (L'ordre du Mérite) Ulusal Onur Ödülü, Fransa Kültür Bakanlığı'nın "L'ordre des Palmes Académiques" (Altın Palmiye Ödülü), T.C. Kültür Bakanlığı ödülleri gibi birçok önemli edebiyat ve mimari ödülleri aldı. Prof. Dr. Murat Erginöz, merkezi Paris/ Fransa'da bulunan "Dünya Şehircilik Birliği"nin Türkiye Temsilcisidir.

Prof. Dr. Murat Aykaç Erginöz began his higher education at the University of Geneva in Switzerland and graduated from Istanbul Technical University’s Faculty of Architecture. He held a teaching post at the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV). As architect, novelist and translator, Erginöz has many original and translated works to his credit. A number of his works have been made into television series or feature-length films and have been translated into English and French. He has received several literary and architectural awards such as the French Presidential ‘L’ordre national du Mérite,’ the French Ministry of Culture’s ‘L’ordre des Palmes académiques’ and the Turkish Ministry of Culture’s ‘Best Playwright’ award. Prof. Dr. Murat Erginoz is the Turkish representative for Paris-based international association of urban planners, the Association Urbanistes du Monde.
